Central Business Office
The Central Business Office (CBO) was started in August, 2007 and is located in the Genesee Mall in Auburn. Our office hours are weekdays 7:30am to 4:00 pm.
The CBO offers shared services to the districts and our aim is to provide world-class payroll and accounts payable service, separation of duties and necessary internal controls as described by the NYS Comptroller, and maintain consistency in role performance.
We currently employ six full time and one part time person and service seven school districts. We process payroll and accounts payable for Auburn, Jordan Elbridge, Port Byron, Union Springs, Moravia and Southern Cayuga. We are currently processing Accounts Payable only for Cato. A new addition to our service is providing Civil Service reporting which we are currently doing for Port Byron, Moravia and Southern Cayuga.
Linda Montross, Annette Vitagliano and Pat Baum are our payroll experts while Audrey Ryerson and Jule Direnzo process accounts payable. Janet Curtis works part time providing Civil Service report processing. Deb Beyor manages the CBO as well as process accounts payable. Our staff members have a combined 35 years experience working in area school districts.
