Community Partners Needed for Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Employer Career Day

Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is inviting local businesses and community partners to take part in its upcoming Employer Career Day, a career fair designed to connect students with industry professionals. The event will take place on Monday, June 1, at 9 a.m. at the BOCES campus, 1879 West Genesee Street Road in Auburn.
During Employer Career Day, Career and Technical Education students will have the opportunity to explore career pathways and learn about industry expectations. Participating businesses will have the chance to showcase their organizations, share current openings, and engage with students preparing to enter the workforce.
“This event is about bringing our community together to support students and highlight the opportunities available right here in our region,” said Kayla Hurley, Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES. “We are hoping to showcase a variety of industries, and we welcome all to participate and share their expertise. It’s a great way for businesses to connect with students and help shape the future workforce.”
Organizations are encouraged to bring informational materials, displays, and giveaways to help connect with students.
Businesses must register to participate in Employer Career Day. To sign up, fill out this form or contact Kayla Hurley at 315-255-7642 or khurley@cayboces.org.
